Ok so my boyfriend gave me a new coat and I love it! I think it has only been once this week I haven't worn it. Oops! I've not been too good on the 'lifestyle change' this week. I will admit to the sins of takeaway, please forgive me! The last picture shows how I feel after it all. It's the 1st December today and I shall get back onto the wagon!!!
My nails are awful for chipping!!! Whenever I grow them, they will grow to a nice length and then just disintegrate. I will never normally have them natural, I always have a thick coat of brightly coloured polish on! They are also often discoloured. I would love to be able to have natural long healthy nails. I have heard so much about OPI original nail envy and how it has good results but I have always before been put off by the price.
So today I walked into boots with my scraggy uneven chipped nails, saw that they were on offer and I thought 'FUCK IT' and before I knew it I was at the till. I thought I would share me trying it out on here.
I got home took off my old polish and put on two coats of the nail envy, apparently I am to add another coat every other day for a week then remove with nail polish remover. I plan on trying this out until my nails look good or that I give up hope on having beautiful nails.
After an interview on Monday *fingers crossed* I met my boyfriend Vis and went to the imperial war museum. I have not been there since school so I thought it could be an interesting visit. On this school trip I was considered too young to go to the Holocaust section, and now I know why. I did not take pictures in the exhibition as I think they are too sad and horrifying to publish. Our plan was to see this exhibition then explore the rest of the museum but we both got upset and left in need of something comforting and a hot chocolate. It was terrible to see how evil human beings can be.
I keep finding things online that I would love but cant afford. So I thought I would start a wish list that I could forward to loved ones incase they were looking for ideas, I'll post this now and add to it as I spot things :D
Molecule 01 30ml, This Company avalible at Liberty £27.00
I ran out of my sleek brow kit so I ran to Superdrug to get some more, only to find that they have hiked up the price!!!! It's now a rip off at £8.50! And they haven't done any changes or anything!so I was like sod that! It's a cheek (and I'm kinda skint) so I had a browse to see what other companies had to offer. Turns out MUA have brought out their own brow kit for I£3.50 (the same as the sleek mark up from £5 to £8.50 ) so I thought I'd give it a go, if worse comes to worse I'll wait until pay-day and get the extortionate sleek brow kit. Urrrr they've made me so angry!!!
FIRST IMPRESSIONS The brush is shit! Thank god I haven't chucked out the brushes that came with the sleek kit so I will be using them instead. The mid brown is exactly the same as the powder in the light sleek kit (fab!) but the gel is a bit gloopy. So far it's not a great buy, BUT I'm going to stick it out hopefully it will grow on me (until payday at least) *fingers crossed*
Superdrug had a 3 for 2 offer and I wanted some a smokey brow palate (i picked up from MUA) and I'm impressed! Good pigmentation and nice long brush. I also needed a replacement nude eyeliner and rimmel have brought outa new one, so I got this as my free item, I'll do anything for bigger looking eyes!!!
I've finally received my iPhone, it only took orange over a month to get it. I love it!.... The battery is really shit though, like it only lasts a day. Oh well. But it does mean that you will be getting more posts from me as I can now update this blog straight from my phone, yey! And I got this brilliant case for 50p! I loved my game boy as a child!
this website is really interesting! you enter your start weight and goal weight as well as your hair could, height, shape etc and it will give you pictures of what you look like now and how you could look like, cool eh?
By Malika Favre I saw this screen printed alphabet today at the ‘Pick Me Up’ graphics and illustration exhibition being held in London. Malika believes in distilling her work down to the minimal shapes and lines possible, yet still conveying the idea. “Less is definitely more”, as she says. This leaves just the right of amount detail to the viewers imagination.
